Respectable rums are not only created in the Caribbean, you will find them all over the world. At the 2017 Miami Rum Renaissance Festival there were a number of domestic based rum manufacturers, many with decent – and in some cases gold medal winning and ‘Best In Class‘ awarded – products.
Below is a list of Michigan-made rums available for retail purchase, and eventually I will procure each expression and post tasting notes here on this blog.
