While going through some old philatelic items today I ran across a little booklet that came with Zenith radios, dated March 29, 1941, that came from my great grandfather. It lists all the MW (“AM radio” for the uninitiated) stations in the country, along with 60-31 meter shortwave stations with callsigns. I’m amazed at the number of commercial Cuban stations on the air at that time.
Towards the back of the booklet is a list of MW stations by state, including the 29 stations in Michigan
